Ethan's 1st Month: What a ONE-derful Month!

Ten perfect fingers and ten perfect toes,
Mommy's eyes and Daddy's nose,
A wonderful miracle from heaven above,
Oh, little baby, how much you are loved!

Life at home with Ethan has been utterly exhilarating and completely exhausting!! Thankfully, we've had help from family and friends. Nama was with us last week, Sean took off from work this week, and Mimi will be helping out next week. Our Sunday School class has been delivering meals to the house, which has been a godsend.

Ethan had his first checkup earlier this week, and he now weighs 8 pounds, 8 ounces. His newborn screen (PKU and other metabolic testing) came back normal. We thank God for our healthy bundle of joy!

It's amazing how the smallest thing that Ethan does can just melt your heart. We are making sure to cherish every single moment. It's hard to believe he's already two weeks old... time passes so quickly...
