Ethan's first birthday party was held at Wallden Pond in Appling, which is owned by Auntie Katie's parents. The pondhouse was decorated with all things Mickey Mouse, and we celebrated with over 50 family members and friends. Mimi and Papa Charlie bought the fun, festive cake from A PIECE OF CAKE bakery in Martinez, Georgia. Nama and Pops provided the food. We served hot dogs to keep with the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme. Mickey and friends always do the "Hot Dog" dance at the end of each episode. It's one of Ethan's favorite songs! All of Ethan's cousins came into town to attend, which was really special. Asher, Eli, and Abi even helped with the gifts Ethan wasn't able to open by himself. Guests received bubbles and blowouts as party favors, and many of the kids enjoyed playing outdoors. The weather was absolutely gorgeous. Ethan had a blast! We were so blessed to share this event with our loved ones.
