Ethan's cousins Caleb and Grace Anne came to stay with us for 11 days, while their parents went on a once in a lifetime trip to Israel. We had such a blast spending time with the kids, with lots of planned activities and parties that made for special memories we will cherish forever! We live close to the Evans Towne Center Park and the Evans Library, so we also made many, many trips to the playground.
Some of the highlights:
- Cookie Night
- Movie Night - The boys made pigs in a blanket (using lit'l smokies and crescent rolls) and chocolate covered oreo pops, then built a fort in the living room for a viewing of The Lion King.
- Lego Party - Caleb loooves all things Lego, so he had been looking forward to this since day one :)
- Trip to Riverbanks Zoo
- Star Wars Party - family galactic-themed dinner party that was not so far, far away, complete with aptly named food and desserts. The kids had a great time playing with the lightsabers Sean made (using pool noodles and duct tape)!
- Trip to Children's Museum in Columbia, SC
- Movie Night (The Sequel) - The boys made mini pizzas (using english muffins, spaghetti sauce, mozzarella cheese, and mini pepperoni slices) and opted for a repeat viewing of The Lion King.
- Cupcake Party
