Ethan's 2nd Month: An EGG-stra Special Easter

Ethan's first Easter was very special, indeed! On Saturday, we celebrated Cousin Caleb's third birthday with a fishing party at Daddy Jim's and Necy's water garden. Then, we attended the Easter Egg Hunt at Wallden Pond. Later that evening, we visited with Sean's family and their next door neighbors, the Benson's. We attended church on Easter morning and then had a cookout with my family in the afternoon. It was certainly one JOY-filled weekend!

This Easter season was especially powerful. Becoming a parent gives you a whole new perspective on the death and resurrection of Christ... trying to imagine what it was like for God to watch his Son endure the pain and suffering of the cross... what an AWESOME sacrifice... what an AMAZING display of love! Passion with a purpose!!
