Ethan's 2nd Month: Parent - Baby Dedication

"And these words, that I command you today, shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise." Deuteronomy 6:6-7

We had portraits made to commemorate the special occasion. Ethan is posing with the Bible he received at the ceremony. The adorable ginormous teddy bear was a baby shower gift. Ethan also poses with another baby shower gift. It has a special Bible verse on it. Psalm 5:11-12 says, "But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you. For you bless the righteous, O Lord; you cover him with favor as a sheild." After the ceremony, we had lunch at Cracker Barrel. Ethan met Granny Jane and Papa Doc for the first time.
